Holding the Breakthrough Prize. A privilige to be part of the ALICE Collaboration
As a member of the ALICE collaboration, I had the honor of holding the Breakthrough Prize in Fundamental Physics, awarded to the four LHC experiments at CERN (ALICE, ATLAS, CMS, LHCb). It was a special experience to see the award up close and celebrate what collaboration in science can achieve.
Congratulations to Connie Yang and Dev Desai on securing summer research iternships in 2025. Connie will be at Jefferson Lab, and Dev at Brookhaven National Laboratory!

We were excited to host the ALICE-USA meeting here at UT Austin! Colleagues from ALICE institutions across the US came together for a vibrant few days of talks, discussions and catching up.
Amanda Flores was selected to join the expert shift crew for heavy-ion data taking at the ALICE control room in Fall 2024, an exciting opportunity to be right at the heart of the action!
Huge congratulations to Amanda Flores for being selected by the ALICE collaboration to present an overview talk on heavy-flavor correlations at ICHEP 2024 in Prague!
